[Personal Coaching for Results] Lou Tice has a wonderful way of taking complex topic and making them very easy to understand, but better yet apply it. The concepts are solid and very well researched. This book can help you personally and professionally. I would highly recommend this book for leaders of any size organization.

[Smart Talk for Achieving Your Potential] Mr. Tice and his Pacific Institute have done extensive research and have many years of experience in helping people discover their potential for success while helping them realize that potential. You will discover how and why your mind works as it does, and why you, seemingly at times, make choices that undermine your success, while other times your choices help you succeed. Lou gives you exercises that will help you discover where your limitations come from but, most importantly, how to correct or overcome them and turn on your potential for success.

[7 Habits of Highly Effective People] The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change was a groundbreaker when it was first published in 1990, and it continues to be a business bestseller with more than 10 million copies sold. Stephen Covey, an internationally respected leadership authority, realizes that true success encompasses a balance of personal and professional effectiveness, so this book is a manual for performing better in both arenas. His anecdotes are as frequently from family situations as from business challenges.

Before you can adopt the seven habits, you'll need to accomplish what Covey calls a "paradigm shift"--a change in perception and interpretation of how the world works. Covey takes you through this change, which affects how you perceive and act regarding productivity, time management, positive thinking, developing your "proactive muscles" (acting with initiative rather than reacting), and much more.

[You Can't Say You Can't Play] The author is an esteemed kindergarten teacher at the U. of Chicago Laboratory Schools whose previous writing has been about using children's stories and fantasies as vehicles for learning. Here she interweaves her private reflections, her conversations with children, and a story she spins, to tell what happened when she instituted a radical new order in her classroom. Her new rule prohibited children from excluding someone who wanted to play. The implications of such a non-exclusion rule are profound; most of the children resisted at first, but with discussion began to adjust their behavior and truly experience the benefits of making no one a stranger. Paley makes a powerful statement in this slim book, to teachers, parents, and society at large.

[Live Your Dream] This book takes one from outlining their biggest dreams to listing obstacles and strategizing how to overcome them. Take the time to complete every page of this book, it will have a life-altering impact on your thinking and actions! A must for anyone who is ready for BIG POSITIVE changes!

[Journaling for Joy] The aim of this book is to help you find joy getting to know yourself through journaling. The chapters discuss the use of various techniques - lists, dialogues, letters, etc. to use in your journal writing, and includes numerous examples of each. In my opinion, it's definitely worth a read.

[Weddings from the Heart] With its combination of contemporary and traditional ceremonies, as well as suggestions for vows, readings and extra special touches, Weddings From the Heart will help any couple understand the meaning behind the wedding ceremony and create the most exquisite ceremony possible. Movingly written in Daphne Kingma's warm and intimate style, Weddings From the Heart offers five complete ceremonies: one that emphasizes the psychological dimensions of love; one for the previously married; one that celebrates the joy of finding soul mate; a ceremony for people in recovery; and a ceremony that focuses on the spiritual commitment of marriage, as well as the texts of traditional Christian and civil ceremonies and hundreds of vows, consecrations, and blessings of the rings from traditions around the world. Weddings From the Heart also contains more than fifty heartwarming, philosophical and poetic readings on love from a wide range of writers and poets, including Pablo Neruda, E. E. Cummings, Rainer Maria Rilke, Shakespeare, Shelley, and Elizabeth Barret Browning. Also included are step-by-step suggestions on how to put together your own ceremony and a multitude of ideas on how to deepen the experience both for the couple and the guests.
