New Podcast Interview with ACA Vice President Dr. Keith Overland

PodcastAnother OnTheOtherHand podcast. Keith Overland, DC, is the current Vice President of the American Chiropractic Association and he is likely to be the next president of the ACA. Dr. Overland speaks about the ACA, the Chiropractic Summit and healthcare reform as it relates to chiropractic. He also talks about being the team chiropractor for the New York Mets.

Dr. Overland teaches sports medicine at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic and serves on their postgraduate faculty as well as those of New York Chiropractic College and Cleveland College of Chiropractic – Kansas City. He has served as the chiropractic consultant for the New York Mets baseball team, the United States Olympic training center, and the 2002 Olympic U.S. speed skating team. Dr. Overland also has taught at the U.S. Open Tennis Coaches Conference and is the medical editor for the New England Tennis Magazine. He practices in Norwalk, Connecticut.

    First of all thank you Brett, for providing the Podcast. Secondly, I wanted to say I somewhat agree with Dr.Overland. Chiropractic can really shine and be a leader in health care reform especially the wellness/prevention arena. The profession needs to be treated fairly. Some of those concerned/competitiors don’t allow/don’t want an equal playing field/ fairness……..they don’t like competition. That has to change and it sounds like Dr. Overland understands the need for fairness.
