Suggest the following dietary modifications to your clients with Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS)
Eat:
  • barley
  • buckwheat
  • canola, flaxseed and walnut oils
  • dark leafy greens
  • fish (anchovies, bluefish, halibut, herring, lake trout, mackerel, salmon, sardines, shark, sturgeon, albacore and bluefin tuna)
  • fruit (except citrus)
  • legumes
  • millet
  • oats
  • vegetables
Avoid:
  • alcohol
  • aspartame
  • butter
  • caffeine
  • carbonated beverages
  • citrus
  • coffee
  • dairy
  • meat
  • monosodium glutamate (MSG)
  • nuts
  • sugar
  • tea
  • white flour
