Drug Nutrient Depletions Potential Depletion Problems


Estrogen derivatives & selective estrogen receptor modulators* magnesium asthma, cardiovascular problems, cramps, osteoporosis, PMS
  vitamin B6 depression, increased cardiovascular disease risk, sleep disturbances
  zinc loss of sense of smell and taste, lower immunity, slow wound healing
* Brand names include Estratab, Menest, Premarin, Premphase and Prempro.


Advise customers to ask their pharmacist or doctor if any of their medications can cause nutrient depletions. The scientific basis for this information is from published studies using these drugs or drugs from the same pharmacological class.
