SeaSilver product is a heavily advertised dietary supplement claiming to cleanse vital organs, purify the blood and lymphatic system, nourish the body at the cellular level, protect tissues and cells, and strengthen the immune system. If there were scientific substantiation for these claims, such an all-in-one product would be quite an achievement, indeed.

Unfortunately, product claims for SeaSilver are based, not on clinical trials on human subjects, but on heavy reliance of testimonials and anecdotes – methods of some marketing value, but which do not demonstrate effectiveness or safety. Frankly, it is rather astounding, yet not surprising, that SeaSilver denigrates the scientific method as offering limited knowledge, and that it prevents us from learning new truths –– astounding because science, while not perfect, is the gold standard for proving efficacy and safety. This is because science is not opinion. It is measurable, repeatable, and quantifiable. The point of view is not surprising because SeaSilver appears to not have any peer-reviewed studies to support the product. Instead, they tout Kirlian photography, which has a checkered history of dubious and fraudulent use, and Ultra Microscope, for which there is no explanation.

Another troubling issue is that SeaSilver contains many trace ingredients for which there is no known human nutritional need and no evidence of safety. There is no explanation for the presence of uranium, for example, and the claims that silver kills over 650 disease causing organisms have no models showing this to be true in human applications. SeaSilver also does not reference nutrient or ingredient amounts. Under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act, dietary supplement manufacturers have a responsibility to substantiate the safety and efficacy of the ingredients they use in manufacturing a product. We take this responsibility seriously, and we want our customers to, also.

In summary, we believe we offer the best products of their kind on the market today. We are confident in this because of our diligence to science and the peer-reviewed, published clinicals that support our products. We leave it to the customer to decide which dietary supplements to choose for the good health of themselves and their families.
